    • Reflection Questions - Each activity incorporates insightful reflection questions designed to help students connect the material to their daily lives, encouraging them to apply what they've learned in meaningful ways.

The Respectful Signage, Posters, and Banners continue to provide motivational and inspiring affirmations for classrooms and hallways that reinforce respectful behavior and helps establish a positive school climate.

Respectful Ways’ curriculum is designed for all school districts and offers multi-year services to support the long-term well-being of students. The new Year 2 modules build on the 79 original modules launched in the first year. They aim to provide comprehensive, trauma-informed strategies for educators, counselors, and administrators to implement school-wide.

The new Year 2 modules are now available under the Curriculum section on the Respectful Ways website. Schools can begin integrating these modules into their daily practices today! As part of our commitment to create safer and healthier schools, the Year 2 curriculum helps districts take a proactive approach to addressing complex issues like bullying, emotional regulation, mental health, and personal safety. Our trauma-informed resources are adaptable across various age groups. This supports schools in building respect, empathy, and support for all.

In Year 1, Respectful Ways introduced 79 original modules offering a comprehensive resource customized to four grade groups.

  • The Grades PreK-2 focus is on a strong foundation for positive relationships and self-regulation.
  • The Grades 3-5 curriculum emphasizes empathy, conflict resolution, and responsibility.
  • The Grades 6-8 modules address issues like peer pressure, inclusivity, and mental health awareness.
  • The Grades 9-12 modules tackle leadership, critical thinking and self-advocacy.  These modules continue to be accessible alongside the new Year 2 resources.
