Trauma-Affected Students

A Trauma-Sensitive School supports ALL children to feel safe. With a strong and caring environment, children are nurtured academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. With safety in mind, these Respectful Ways modules engage children in activities promoting resiliency, positive relationships, character strengths, and development of healthy emotions.  Any student who has suffered through Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) needs SEL curriculum to retrain their brains, along with signage and educator support tools to make a full-school culture shift.
